 « In ShhhhhhhAnna de Castro Barbosa explores a place where things whisper, reassure, calm and reveal, mirroring the fact that there are often tensions and anxieties to be soothed. The title expresses the ambiguity of comforting words that leave no room for negative emotions. The evolving halos scattered across the fabric convey the mystery of moments that oscillate between taste and disgust. Referencing the structure of the oyster pearl, which transforms impurity into preciousness, the capsules question the relationship we have with our fluids, which are disgusting yet often guarantee pleasure.
